Court confirms Rajab Butt's interim bail in gambling case

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) A sessions court on Wednesday confirmed the interim bail of YouTuber Rajab Butt in a case related to the promotion of an alleged gambling application.

The court also confirmed the interim bail of social media influencer Zarq in the case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Naeem Zulfiqar announced the decision on bail applications of accused upon completion of arguments.

Advocate Rana Maroof appeared before the court on behalf of Rajab Butt.

In September 2025, the NCCIA had booked Rajab Butt and other content creators for allegedly promoting online gambling apps on their social media accounts.

Meanwhile, the court also extended the interim bail of Nadeem Mubarak alias Naniwala until June 2 in the case and directed his counsel to complete arguments at the next hearing.
