Court awards jail term to drug-peddler

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Additional & Sessions Judge Sargodha Amjed Ali Bajwa on Thursday, while deciding drugs case No. 1126/24 in the premises of Jhal Chakiaan police station, awarded 9-year imprisonment to the accused after finding him guilty in the case.

According to the prosecution, Accuse Tassawer Abbas was involved in supplying drugs to the locality which was serious criminal practice. The court awarded Tassawer for nine years jail with fine of Rs. 80,000 to him.
