MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) The Divisional Development Working Party, chaired by Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan, approved the construction of a new Deputy Commissioner (DC) Complex in Lodhran at an estimated cost of Rs 200 million.
According to official details, the project will be executed in phases, with the first phase covering the construction of the ground floor and boundary wall. The new complex aims to house the DC office and other key government departments under one roof, equipped with modern facilities to improve public service delivery.
The meeting also reviewed development projects across the division and approved a revision in the scope of work for the DC Office Multan scheme.
The revised plan includes restoration of the old DC office along with the construction of a new block. Improvements in the building’s front elevation and furniture have also been made part of the project, within the already approved cost of Rs 210 million.
Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan directed all concerned departments to ensure timely completion of development schemes, stressing that quality standards must be strictly maintained.
The meeting was attended by the relevant deputy commissioners, Director Development, and officers of concerned departments, while progress on DC Offices Multan was also reviewed.
