Condolence meeting held for mother of DC Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) A condolence meeting was held at the Committee Room of the DC Office following the demise of the mother of Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza.

A large number of district officers and employees of the DC Office attended the gathering to express their sympathies. The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Fateha for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for elevation of her ranks in the hereafter. Participants prayed for her forgiveness, a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and patience and strength for the bereaved family.

Several officers expressed their heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the deputy commissioner, stating that they equally share his grief during this difficult time.

They remarked that a mother’s presence is one of the greatest blessings in life and that her loss is an irreparable one.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Hassan Raza thanked the officers and staff members for their prayers and expressions of sympathy. He added that the presence and prayers of colleagues at such moments provide strength and help one endure the loss with patience. The meeting concluded with a special collective prayer for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
