COMSTECH chief calls Science and Technology real power of modern age

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) As Pakistan prepares to mark the Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq on May 10, Coordinator General OIC-COMSTECH, Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary has paid rich tribute to the brave armed forces, resilient masses, and responsible leadership for their unwavering resolve and professional excellence in defending the motherland.

In an exclusive talk with APP, Dr. Choudhary said that this is a historic moment in which Pakistan, through its unity, commitment, and strategy, stood firm against a significantly larger adversary and sent a clear message to the world that it is a dignified and self-respecting nation.

He noted that the armed forces and the leadership not only responded to the enemy's aggression in the most befitting manner but also set a new example through modern technology, scientific expertise, and professional capabilities.

He stressed that this occasion teaches the nation a vital lesson that in today's world, science, research, and technology are the real power, and whether it is national security or economic progress, success in every field depends on education and innovation.

As Coordinator General of COMSTECH, he urged the youth of Pakistan to make the acquisition of scientific education, research, and technology their foremost priority, calling it the only path that can make Pakistan a strong, self-sufficient, and developed nation.

He concluded by calling on the entire nation to pledge to advance in the fields of knowledge, research, and technology to further strengthen the country and to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces at every such moment.
