Comprehensive strategy vital for provision of equal access to basic facilities to people: Governor

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday said that to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas, we need a comprehensive strategy that can provide equal access to all basic facilities and opportunities to citizens.

He said that without a clear vision and wise planning, the gap between villages and big cities would increase and the dream of equal development could remain unfulfilled, in this regard, the role of all policy makers and elected representatives of the people is very important, we are taking revolutionary steps to bridge these existing gaps.

He expressed these views while talking to various delegations at the Governor House, Quetta.

On this occasion, Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that it is a fact that education is the foundation of any kind of development, knowledge is not just a personal benefit but a collective asset and a guarantee of a bright future.

He said that infrastructure is the backbone of any balanced development plan, by building national highways, we could connect the people of rural areas with major economic and commercial markets, this would enable farmers and traders to access new opportunities, reduce costs and bring our people closer to each other.

The Governor Balochistan said that equitable development is not just a dream but an economic and social necessity, when we lift up the rural areas which boost up the entire province when we invest in education, we open new avenues of development, we move forward together.

He said that to realize the dream of an educated and developed Balochistan, we must make the interests of the people alliance and center of all policies and projects and in this it is the key to our common and successful future.
