PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) An important meeting regarding community schemes linked to the Mohmand dam was held at the planning and development department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday and reviewed community schemes.

The meeting was attended by public representatives, district administration officials, WAPDA authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

The planning and development department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa statement here that the meeting conducted a detailed review of the community-related projects associated with the dam and discussed their progress.

Participants also presented suggestions regarding local issues and needs faced by different areas.

Additional Chief Secretary for Planning and Development, Muhammad islam Zeb, directed that the PC-1 documents for all community schemes be prepared and submitted as soon as possible so that the approval and implementation process could be accelerated.

He also instructed the chief economist to provide full support during the preparation and approval stages of the projects to avoid any delays and ensure timely commencement of work.

These community schemes linked to the Mohmand dam are expected to play an important role in the welfare of the local population, the provision of basic facilities, and the social and economic development of the area.
