Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, RPO, DC visit Muntaha's house, assure family of justice

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, along with RPO Shahzad Asif Khan and Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, on Wednesday visited the residence of eight year old Muntaha who was allegedly subjected to sexual assault and murdered in Sargodha.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, the officials expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.

On this occasion, the Commissioner met the grieving parents and family members, prayed for forgiveness for the deceased Muntaha and for patience for the bereaved family.

He said that the unfortunate incident that happened to the young girl is very heartbreaking and the administration stands with the affected family in this hour of grief.

RPO Shahzad Asif Khan assured the family that the accused involved in the incident will be brought to justice and all aspects of the investigation are being completed with merit and transparency, adding that no negligence or omission will be tolerated.

The Commissioner and DC also assured the victim's family of complete justice and said that the district administration and police are monitoring the progress of the case in close coordination so that the victim's family can get justice.
