Commissioner reviews Ramzan Nigahban Bazaar, DHQ hospital in Bahawalnagar

BAHAWALNAGAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Musarrat Jabeen conducted a detailed visit to the Ramazan Nigahban Bazaar and the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Bahawalnagar.

During the visit, she reviewed cleanliness arrangements, administrative measures, and price monitoring mechanisms at the Ramzan Bazaar to ensure smooth operations during the holy month. Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Zulfiqar Ahmed Bhawan briefed the Commissioner on ongoing development projects, sanitation measures, and the facilities being provided at both the Ramzan Bazaar and the DHQ Hospital.

Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen appreciated the efforts of the Assistant Commissioner Bahawalnagar, officers of relevant departments, and magistrates for their proactive measures.

She directed officials to ensure that citizens are provided with quality facilities and essential commodities at reasonable prices throughout Ramzan. At the bazaar, she inspected the prices and quality of vegetables, fruits, meat, and other essential items.

During her visit to the DHQ Hospital, she reviewed cleanliness standards, availability of medicines, and healthcare facilities being provided to patients. The Commissioner stressed that transparency and public convenience must be ensured, adding that citizens should not face any inconvenience during the sacred month of Ramazan.
