Commissioner reviews progress of “Apna Khait Apna Rozgar” scheme

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia on Monday visited the office of Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur Sadar to review the implementation of the government’s “Own Farm, Own Livelihood” (Apna Khait Apna Rozgar) scheme in Bahawalpur.

During the visit,the Commissioner was briefed on the scheme’s operational framework, application process and progress on applications submitted by citizens.

The Assistant Commissioner also informed him about the processing mechanism and the current status of received applications.

Commissioner Kathia reviewed the application processing system and directed officials to submit regular progress reports on the scheme.

He also instructed the concerned authorities to ensure effective public awareness and outreach so that maximum people could benefit from the initiative.

Terming the“Own Farm,Own Livelihood” scheme a key step towards public facilitation and economic uplift,the Commissioner stressed the need for transparent and efficient implementation.

He reiterated that providing maximum convenience to citizens remains the top priority of the administration.
