Commissioner reviews high-value govt properties to boost revenue generation in Sargodha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shoukat Ali, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, on Thursday conducted a detailed inspection of high-value government properties and revenue-generating public assets across Sargodha district.

According to the official spokesperson here, during the visit, the commissioner reviewed the current condition of various government properties, their utilisation, protection, and potential to enhance public revenue. He directed the relevant departments to treat these valuable assets as national property and ensure their proper maintenance and effective use in the larger public interest.

Hafiz Shoukat Ali said that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the government was taking all possible measures to ensure the efficient utilisation of public resources, strengthen transparent governance, and increase government revenue. He reiterated the administration's commitment to improving the management, protection, and productive use of government properties to maximise public benefit and strengthen the provincial exchequer.

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry briefed the Commissioner on the ongoing initiatives related to government properties and revenue generation. Officials from the concerned departments also accompanied the visit.
