Commissioner reviews Eid-ul-Adha arrangements across division

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday chaired a meeting to review special arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha across the division, with a focus on cleanliness, security, cattle markets, and public facilitation.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, the meeting was attended by deputy commissioners of all four districts, officers from relevant departments, the Chief Operating Officer of the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Sargodha Waste Management Company.

During the meeting, detailed reviews were conducted regarding the establishment and management of cattle markets, sanitation measures, security arrangements, traffic management, sewerage, lighting, and provision of public facilities throughout the division.

On the occasion, the deputy commissioners briefed the meeting on district-wise preparations, cleanliness plans, and arrangements made for citizens during Eid-ul-Adha.

Officials of the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company informed the meeting that all necessary facilities for traders and visitors at cattle markets were being ensured, including security, parking, clean drinking water, fans, and medical services.

Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure maximum public relief during Eid.
