Commissioner reviews cattle sale points

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali conducted a late-night visit to cattle sale points established by

the district administration at Qurtaba Town and Tahli Chowk to review arrangements

and facilities ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here on Monday, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, the commissioner inspected livestock department stalls, vaccination facilities, cleanliness measures, security arrangements, and traffic management during the visit.

On the occasion, the officials briefed the commissioner on veterinary services, animal vaccination, and facilities being provided to traders and citizens at the sale points.

He directed the concerned departments to ensure effective implementation of all health and safety measures for the welfare of both animals and visitors.

During the visit, the commissioner also interacted with traders and citizens to obtain feedback regarding arrangements at the cattle sale points. Both traders and visitors expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided by the district administration.

The commissioner was informed that the temporary sale points were equipped with lighting, clean drinking water, fodder, veterinary services, security, and traffic management facilities, while relevant departments were actively performing their duties.
