Commissioner reviews arrangements at 9th-grade examination center

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia on Monday conducted a surprise visit to the 9th-grade examination centre at Government Cantt High school in Bahawalpur to review examination arrangements.

During the visit,he inspected examination halls,facilities for students and security arrangements in detail.

Emphasizing merit,transparency and discipline, the Commissioner directed officials to ensure a fair and well-organised examination process,warning that any negligence or lack of transparency would not be tolerated.

He noted that Section 144 has been imposed around examination centers with a strict ban on entry of unauthorized persons to maintain a peaceful and transparent environment.

Interacting with students,Commissioner Kathia encouraged them to appear in exams with hard work,honesty and confidence.

Secretary education board Adeel Malik Cheema also accompanied him during the visit.

The Commissioner reiterated that all available resources were being utilized to ensure transparency and provide students with a fair and conducive examination environment.
