Commissioner reviewed Eid UL Azha arrangements

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali in which

deputy commissioners of four districts and officers of relevant departments participated.

The meeting discussed in detail the administrative arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha, Clean Punjab campaign, installation of manhole covers, wheat procurement campaign, e-business initiatives and implementation of government instructions.

Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali, while addressing the meeting, said that providing a clean environment and best facilities to the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha should be the top priority of the district administration.

He directed that clean drinking water, security, cleanliness, parking, lighting and veterinary facilities should be ensured in the cattle markets, while a comprehensive and effective plan should be formulated for timely disposal of the waste of sacrificial animals.

He directed to make the sanitation operation in all districts more effective under the Shatra Punjab program, and said that no compromise would be made on the standard of cleanliness in urban and rural areas.
