Commissioner pays surprise visit to general bus stand

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday paid a surprise visit to the General Bus Stand to

review arrangements and facilities being provided to passengers traveling to their hometowns

ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry accompanied the commissioner during the inspection.

During the visit, the commissioner inspected the counters of various transport companies, interacted with passengers, and checked travel tickets to ensure strict implementation of fares fixed by the government.

He also reviewed whether fare lists were prominently displayed on buses and wagons for the convenience of passengers.

Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali thoroughly inspected passenger facilities at the bus stand, including seating arrangements, availability of clean drinking water, lighting, fans, and other basic amenities.
