Commissioner Khattak reviews administrative affairs, visits THQ Hospital Murree

MURREE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Aamir Khattak on Wednesday visited the hill station to review overall administrative situation, ongoing development schemes and public welfare initiatives.

During a briefing, Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi apprised the commissioner of the district’s administrative affairs, progress on development projects and steps taken for public facilitation. Assistant Commissioner Murree Captain (retd) Arshad Iqbal and other administrative officers, including the district health director, were also present on the occasion.

The commissioner reviewed the performance of the district administration and issued directions on various official matters.

Later, Commissioner Khattak visited the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Murree along with the deputy commissioner.

He inspected medical facilities, availability of medicines, cleanliness arrangements and services being provided to patients.

He also met patients admitted to the hospital and enquired about the medical care and conduct of the staff. He directed the hospital administration to ensure provision of quality healthcare services.

The commissioner said regular monitoring of staff attendance and performance must be ensured, adding that all possible measures would be taken to further improve the standard of public service in line with the directions of the Punjab government.

He urged officers to discharge their responsibilities with dedication to resolve public issues and enhance the delivery of government services.
