Commissioner Karachi reviews progress of work of repairing and maintenance of internal roads in Korangi

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi chaired a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner Korangi's office to review the progress of work of repairing and maintenance of internal roads under their jurisdictions including the development works in Korangi district.

The meeting also reviewed the measures to improve property tax collection systems by Town Administrations, said a spokesperson on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner Korangi Masood Bhutto, Director Planning and Development Commissioner office Naseem Bhutto, Assistant Commissioners, concerned Chairmen of TMA, Engineers from the towns, education department, and representatives of CLICK attended the meeting.

The officials briefed the Commissioner on project performance and obstacles hindering completion. The Assistant Commissioners presented updates on the visit they conducted for monitoring of the projects by carried out by the TOWNS and click fall in their sub-divisions, covering work progress, quality, and transparency.

Assistant commissioners were asked to ensure that the transparency is maintained as per rules codal formalities are fulfilled and quality are maintained in the work.They were also asked to ensure that duplication of work does not happen.
