Commissioner Karachi performs flag-hoisting ceremony to commemorate Marka-e-Haq

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi on Saturday performed a flag-hoisting ceremony at his office in connection with the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” (Bunyan-al-Marsoos) and victory celebration events.

The ceremony was attended among others by officers and staff of the Commissioner Office Karachi , officers of different district administrations, assistant commissioners additional deputy commissioners and MD Solid Waste Management board Tariq Nizamani.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Commissioner said that this historic success had made Pakistani nation proud which enhanced Pakistan's prestige internationally.

Through Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan not only gave a befitting response to enemy attacks but also achieved success at diplomatic and defense levels, he said.

The Commissioner said that over the past year, Pakistan's name as a nation and country had been elevated across the entire world. The role our leadership has played is exemplary in history. We are united and express our joy and we will continue to demonstrate the same spirit and unity in future, he added.
