Commissioner inspects rates of edible items in Sahulat bazaar

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has said that supply of quality edible items at discount rates is being ensured at Ramazan Sahulat bazaars where a large number of consumers are shopping.

During his visit to the Sahulat bazar, Jhang road here on Monday, he checked the quality and prices at the stalls of fruits and vegetables.

He also reviewed the price lists and said that all edible items should be sold according to the fixed prices.

He instructed the price control magistrates to be active in the markets and take strict action against hoarders

and profiteers.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner said that the process of distributing “Ramadan Nigheban Cards” among the deserving families of Faisalabad division is underway and so far, Rs 10,000 has been distributed to 156,587 families through Ramazan Nigheban cards.
