Commissioner inspects facilities at Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital to review the quality of healthcare services, cleanliness standards, and administrative arrangements.

During his visit to various departments including the Out-Patient Department (OPD), registration counters, and the ophthalmology ward, the Commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants to inquire about the availability of medicines and the conduct of medical staff.

He issued directions to ensure better seating arrangements in shaded waiting areas in view of the upcoming summer season and emphasized the provision of uninterrupted clean drinking water.

Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali further instructed the Medical Superintendent to ensure the disposal of bio-medical waste according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent environmental and health hazards.

He also ordered improvements in the hospital's parking system to ensure smooth traffic flow and easy access for patients.

Providing quality medical facilities to the public is the top priority of the government and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard, the Commissioner remarked.
