Commissioner inaugurates solar project at BISE

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Sunday inaugurated the solarization project at the board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Sargodha to ensure cost-effective and uninterrupted power supply for official operations.

Accompanied by the Board Secretary and other administrative officials, the commissioner received a detailed briefing on various aspects of the project.

He was informed that the transition to solar energy would significantly reduce the institution's electricity expenses while promoting an eco-friendly environment.

Addressing the occasion, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali said the Punjab government was taking practical steps to promote alternative energy sources in public institutions.

He noted that solarization projects not only optimized national resources but also played a vital role in environmental protection.
