Commissioner Hazara reviews preparations for Summer Learning and Grooming Festival 2026

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) Commissioner Hazara Division Fayyaz Ali Shah on Thursday reviewed arrangements for the Summer Learning and Grooming Festival 2026, directing all concerned departments to ensure foolproof security, quality accommodation, medical facilities, and effective coordination for the successful conduct of the event.

Chairing a meeting attended by district administration, education and health officials from Abbottabad and Mansehra, the commissioner was briefed on preparations for the festival, which will be held in four phases from July 4 to July 25.

The meeting reviewed participant registration, transportation, accommodation, catering, security, healthcare, and educational and training activities.

Fayyaz Ali Shah instructed officials to accord top priority to the safety of students, directing that comprehensive security arrangements be put in place at assembly points, travel routes, accommodation facilities, and all festival venues.

He also ordered the establishment of medical camps staffed by doctors, specialists, and nursing personnel at student accommodation sites to provide immediate healthcare in case of emergencies.

The meeting also decided to organize educational, recreational, personality development, and motivational sessions during the festival to help enhance students' academic, leadership, and personal development.

The commissioner directed female officers to regularly visit the camps to mentor participants and said he would personally inspect the arrangements to ensure the event is conducted in a safe, organized, and successful manner.
