Commissioner directs to complete WASA ongoing projects before May, 15 in city

CHICHAWATNI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Commissioner, Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail has directed to complete all ongoing sewerage projects of Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in the city by May 15 where roads construction was currently pending.

He further instructed that all related road construction schemes must be finalized by June 30.

The directives were issued while chairing a review meeting at his office regarding ongoing WASA projects in Chichawatni.

The meeting was attended by Director Development Shafiq Ahmad Dogar, Director Local Government, Shahid Farooq Warraich, Managing Director, WASA, Tanveer Qaiser Sindhu, SE, Highways Kashif Shakoor, CEO MC Sheikh Ashfaq Ahmad, and Deputy Director Technical Imran Khan.

The meeting was informed that 14 road construction schemes in the city were currently pending due to ongoing WASA works and must be completed by June 30 under all circumstances.
