Commissioner directs to accelerate model village projects

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh on Monday directed for speedy

implementation of 35 Model Village projects across the division.

Chairing a meeting on the Chief Minister's Model Village initiative, he directed

the officials to expedite implementation of 35 Model Village projects across Faisalabad

division in line with the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

He made it clear that delay in execution would not be tolerated and transparency

in project implementation would remain uncompromised.

He said that 23 model village projects were under implementation in Faisalabad

district, four in Toba Tek Singh, two in Jhang and six in Chiniot.

He assigned Monitoring Officers (Infrastructure and Services) the task of visiting

the model villages in their respective districts to inspect ongoing development work

and submit detailed progress reports.
