SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali has directed all Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue) (ADCRs) to focus exclusively on revenue-related assignments in line with the Punjab government's directives and ensure the timely achievement of assigned targets.

He issued these instructions while chairing a review meeting at his office on Thursday to assess progress on the Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PLUSE) Programme and the identification of high-value government properties for public auction.

Deputy Commissioners of all four districts participated in the meeting via video link, while Additional Commissioner Coordination Ashfaq-ur-Rehman and other senior officers attended in person.

The Commissioner stressed the need to accelerate work under the PLUSE Programme to meet government deadlines.

He said that Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue) would now be responsible for matters relating to the board of Revenue, the PLUSE Programme, Green Property Certificates, revenue recovery, and other related assignments, adding that they would be held accountable for any failure to achieve the prescribed targets.

They informed the meeting that digitisation had been completed in 40 out of 48 selected revenue estates (mauzas) in Sargodha, 33 out of 35 in Bhakkar, 23 out of 25 in Khushab, and all 28 selected mauzas in Mianwali.

The meeting was also informed that, following the Punjab government's directives, 17 high-value properties in Sargodha, seven in Bhakkar, 10 in Khushab, and five in Mianwali had been identified for auction.

The proposed auctions are expected to generate approximately Rs54.28 billion in revenue for the provincial government.

The Commissioner directed all Deputy Commissioners to thoroughly verify the identified properties, ensure they are free from illegal encroachments and pending litigation, and submit their final reports to the Commissioner's Office at the earliest.
