PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Kohat Division, Syed Motasim Billah Shah on Friday assured representatives of the Young Doctors Association and paramedics that their professional concerns would be addressed on a priority to improve healthcare services in the region.
The assurance came during a meeting held to discuss challenges being faced by hospitals, including issues related to staff facilities and service delivery.
District Health Officer Dr. Syed Gul Said, focal person to Special Assistant to the KP Chief Minister for Information, Shafi Jan, Ehsanullah Jan, and Salman Shinwari were also present on the occasion.
The delegation highlighted various operational issues in hospitals and urged the administration to take immediate steps for their resolution to ensure smooth functioning of health facilities.
Responding to the concerns, Commissioner Shah directed the relevant authorities to take prompt action and emphasized that provision of quality healthcare services to the public remained a top priority of the government.
Later, the commissioner met students and staff at Aghosh Al-Khidmat School. Speaking on the occasion, he advised students to focus on education, maintain discipline and make effective use of their time.
He also lauded the dedication of the school’s teachers and staff for their role in educating orphaned and underprivileged children and assured his full support to the institution.
