CM grieved at 2 sanitation workers' death

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of two sanitation workers who lost their lives while cleaning a sewer in Chishtian.

The CM extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.

She also directed the relevant authorities to submit an immediate report on the incident and ordered that all necessary legal and administrative action be taken in accordance with the findings of the inquiry.
