CM expresses grief over demise of Dr Haroon-ur-Rashid Tabsum

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise

of renowned writer, poet and distinguished Iqbal studies scholar Dr Haroon-ur-Rashid Tabsum.

In her condolence message, the chief minister extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the

bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks.

She said that Dr Tabsum’s valuable scholarly and research contributions in the field of Iqbal studies would

always be remembered and would continue to inspire scholars and future generations.
