QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, accompanied by Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmad Khan, visited the Girls Cadet College Quetta and inspected various faculties, academic departments, teaching facilities, and the training system.
During the visit, both the Chief Minister and the Corps Commander praised the college’s modern education system, high-quality teaching standards, exemplary discipline, and the administration’s professional efforts.
Addressing the students, Sarfraz Bugti described the Girls Cadet College Quetta as a model institution of the country, saying that its students represent the country’s bright future and will serve as ambassadors of Pakistan. He expressed confidence that graduates of the college will prove their abilities in every field of life and play a vital role in national development.
The Chief Minister urged the students to spread the message of patriotism wherever they go and to represent the state with pride. He emphasized that the state is the source of identity, dignity, and honor, and history has shown that loyalty to the state brings respect and success, while betrayal leads to disgrace.
Sarfraz Bugti cautioned the students to distinguish between truth and propaganda, noting that organized campaigns are being run against Pakistan to mislead the youth. He warned that certain councils in universities, under the guise of guidance, attempt to mislead innocent students in the name of nationalism, and advised the youth to stay away from such elements and dedicate their talents to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Highlighting the government’s commitment to education, Sarfraz Bugti said that practical steps are being taken to provide world-class learning opportunities, including access to prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Oxford, so that Balochistan’s youth can showcase their abilities internationally.
He condemned attempts by anti-state elements to exploit Baloch girls for heinous acts like suicide attacks, calling such actions a violation of humanity, Baloch traditions, and national identity. He reaffirmed that Baloch society has always upheld knowledge, awareness, peace, and respect for women, and these values will be preserved at all costs.
Sarfraz Bugti declared that institutions like the Girls Cadet College Quetta are a guarantee of a bright future for Balochistan and Pakistan. He appealed to the students to pledge that in whichever field they enter, they will act as ambassadors of Pakistan, spreading the message of unity, peace, and development.
The Chief Minister announced a special grant of Rs. 12 million for the college, pledging his personal patronage and promising that the provincial government will utilize all possible resources to elevate the institution to the ranks of world-class academies. He said this will ensure that the daughters of Balochistan receive the best educational environment to further polish their talents.
