SUI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Khan Bugti on Thursday inaugurated key gas supply projects in Sui, extending natural gas facilities to several residential colonies and addressing long-standing energy shortages faced by local residents.
Under the initiative, gas will be supplied to Tota, Phong, and other colonies of Sui Town, significantly improving living conditions and providing much-needed relief to the local population.
Officials briefed the chief minister on the details of the scheme, which involves the installation of a six-inch diameter pipeline stretching approximately 2.8 kilometers, enabling gas supply to multiple neighborhoods.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bugti said the completion of these projects would substantially reduce the difficulties faced by residents and provide greater convenience in their daily lives.
“The completion of gas supply schemes in Sui Town’s colonies will help resolve long-standing issues faced by local communities and ensure easier access to an essential utility,” he said.
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the provincial government is prioritizing development projects in underdeveloped and remote areas across Balochistan to ensure that basic services reach people at their doorstep.
He also directed concerned authorities to maintain high standards and transparency in the execution of ongoing and future projects so that the public can benefit in a timely and effective manner.
