QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has declared that the people of Pakistan and the armed forces possess the full capability to confront any internal or external threats.

He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony marking the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, Marka-e-Haq as a decisive chapter in Pakistan’s history.

Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the day holds extraordinary importance in the national narrative, as the enemy underestimated Pakistan’s strength but was met with unmatched courage, strategy, and professionalism by the armed forces.

He praised the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, under whom Pakistan’s military thwarted the ambitions of a much larger adversary, proving that no internal or external force can harm the country when a strong and organized army stands guard.

The Chief Minister highlighted the unwavering support of the people of Balochistan, especially the youth, who stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s defense, security, and stability. He warned elements working against the state and their supporters that their actions have only brought harm and hardship upon themselves.

Sarfraz Bugti stressed that his identity is first and foremost Pakistani, before being Baloch, and urged the people of Balochistan to recognize that violence, hatred, and weapons cannot achieve positive goals.

He recalled the historic decision of Baloch elders in 1947 to join Pakistan, a choice that remains the foundation of national unity and pride today.

Outlining government initiatives, Bugti said the provincial administration is committed to providing education, development, and opportunities for a brighter future to the youth. He noted that doors have been opened for Baloch students to access world-class institutions such as Oxford and Harvard, enabling them to showcase their talents globally.

Sarfraz Bugti said that enemy attempts to manipulate young minds through organized conspiracies, but he expressed confidence that the people of Balochistan reject such negative agendas, adding that public awareness and ground realities have defeated these narratives.

Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed that all communities in Balochistan are equal citizens, including the Punjabi community that has lived in the province for centuries. He called for collective progress, peace, and prosperity through unity among all groups.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the Chief Minister assured their families that the sacred blood of their loved ones will never be forgotten. He concluded by declaring that every child of Balochistan stands with the Pakistan Army, and the entire nation will continue to raise the slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Army Zindabad.”
