CM Balochistan honors martyr Professor Nazma Talib by naming road in Quetta cantonment

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has approved naming the road in front of Government Postgraduate Girls College, Quetta Cantonment, as “Shaheed Professor Nazma Talib Road” to honor her remarkable contributions to education and her ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind said that, on the CM’s directives, the Principal Secretary has issued instructions to the Local Government Department to complete the necessary legal and administrative procedures.

He noted that Professor Nazma Talib rendered outstanding services in the education sector and embraced martyrdom while fulfilling her duty.

The Balochistan government regarded her sacrifice with deep respect and considers her legacy a guiding light for future generations.

Shahid Rind added that dedicating public places to national heroes, martyrs, and distinguished personalities was both a tribute to their services and a way to inspire the younger generation with values of patriotism, service, and sacrifice.

He reaffirmed that the provincial government would continue practical measures to honor martyrs, teachers, and individuals who have served society, ensuring their contributions are remembered with dignity.
