Climate Leadership Development Internship program launched

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) The Punjab Chief Minister Climate Leadership Development Internship Program (CLDP) had been

launched on Sunday, under which interns will be given Rs 60,000 per month.

Punjab Environment Department official sources said that Climate Leadership Development interns will also receive an internship certificate from the Punjab government after three months. 50 percent seats are reserved for female students in the Climate Internship Program.

UNESCO certification will be possible through the Climate Leadership Development Internship Program, they informed.

Under the Climate Leadership Development Internship Program, interns will get an opportunity to become aware of the latest learning management system, while they will also be able to gain experience working as an officer of the Environment Protection Authority and on the Environmental Policy Unit.

There is also an online application facility for the Climate Leadership Development Internship Program, under which youth can apply at epd.punjab.gov.pk/climateinternship till March 29.
