Cleanliness, hygiene standard reviewed in slaughterhouse

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Muhammad Asad Khan has visited slaughterhouse in Lakki Marwat to review cleanliness condition on the premises.

According to the administration during the visit, he conducted a detailed inspection of animal health, slaughtering procedures, cleanliness, hygiene standards, and the quality of meat.

The presence of veterinary staff and the process of medical examination of animals were also reviewed.

He concerned staff to further improve the sanitation system and ensure mandatory veterinary inspections in all cases so that citizens are provided with quality, healthy, and safe meat.

He added that no compromise would be made on public health and that strict implementation of government directives would be ensured.

At the conclusion of the visit, necessary instructions were also issued to improve administrative affairs at the slaughterhouse and maintain hygiene standards.
