PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Culture Literature Arts and Development Organization (CLADO), in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chanan Development Association, organized a one-day Interfaith Youth Study Tour.
More than 60 young participants from diverse religious, social, and professional backgrounds took part in the initiative.
During the study tour, participants visited the historically and culturally significant site of Takht-i-Bahi, where they were briefed on the Buddhist heritage, Gandhara civilization, and the historical and cultural importance of the region from multiple perspectives.
The Primary objective of the tour was to raise awareness among youth about interfaith harmony, tolerance, peace, and the preservation and importance of cultural heritage.
Participants closely observed the archaeological site and exchanged views on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, inclusivity, and the importance of dialogue among different communities and faiths.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Speaking on the occasion, Abdur Rehman, CEO of CLADO and organizer of the tour, stated that such initiatives play a vital role in familiarizing young people with their shared history, culture, and values.
He added that these programs not only promote positive thinking and social harmony among youth but also strengthen mutual trust and understanding across different segments of society.
He further said that the organization will continue to arrange educational, cultural, and social activities for youth in the future to further promote peace, tolerance, harmony, and shared human values.
Participants appreciated the initiative and described it as an informative, positive, and meaningful experience that played an important role in fostering respect, unity, and mutual understanding among individuals from diverse backgrounds.
