Civil Society activists stage protest against social evils

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) Civil Society activists staged a protest against the rising trend of social evils in Jamshoro town on Sunday.

According to details, they staged protest against the increasing social unrest in Jamshoro city, reopening of the illicit liquor, sanitation, health education, sanitation, Stray dogs, unrest, lack of clean drinking water, the main problems of the city have not been solved.

Social activists, including Kolachi broadcaster Vikyo Khan Pirzado, Sindh University Employees Union leader Najaf Soomro, social volunteers Asadullah Panhoor, Amir Januri, Zohaib Chandio, Shabbir Nohani, Amjad Hussain Magsi and others took out a rally with their innocent children and protested in front of the police post set up near Sehwan bus stand Jamshoro

They said that the basic problems are not being resolved due to the lack of interest of the elected representatives therefore, social problems are increasing day-by-day ratio of abuse of drugs is also increasing.

They also highlighted problems like drinking water for the citizens, cleanliness of the city, improvement of the drainage system, and health, education, border encroachment and ending unrest are not being solved.
