Citywide sanitation campaign intensified ahead of Eid in DI Khan

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Water and Sanitation Services Company Dera Ismail Khan has launched a special citywide cleanliness campaign in Dera Ismail Khan ahead of Eid al-Azha to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for citizens.

Heavy machinery, including excavators, is being used to clear large garbage heaps from different areas of the city.

Officials urged residents to dispose of household waste and sacrificial remains only at designated collection points and to avoid dumping garbage in drains, open spaces, and along roadsides.

The company has also issued UC-wise contact numbers of sanitation supervisors for timely complaint resolution during Eid days.

Officials said additional staff and machinery would remain active to ensure prompt lifting of sacrificial waste throughout the holidays.
