City beautification plan: bazaars illuminated

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Under the plan of beautification of Bahawalpur city, bazaars and markets have been illuminated

and decorated.

During the blessed month of Ramazan, arrangements across the city have been made more

effective and well-organized. Main roads, major intersections, and markets have been adorned

with beautiful lights, giving the city a charming and radiant atmosphere.

The district administration is actively working to provide maximum facilities to the needy and

underprivileged. At various locations across the city, free iftar is being arranged daily

for approximately three hundred people.

According to official sources of the district the administration, the purpose of this initiative

is to promote the true spirit of Ramazan—compassion, selflessness, and social responsibility.
