DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Under the public-friendly initiatives of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a citizen facilitation center has been formally established in the Dera Ismail Khan region to provide various government services to citizens under one roof.
The project has been set up under the directions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government with the cooperation of the Directorate of information technology (IT).
According to officials, the center offers nearly 30 different services for citizens, including birth and death certificates, marriage and divorce certificates, new water connections, trade licenses, approval of building plans, matters related to encroachments, complaints regarding garbage and drainage cleaning, land records, vehicle records, file verification and registration, arms licenses, domicile certificates, property transfers, demarcation, and issuance of land record copies. E-Sahulat (NADRA) services and several other public services are also available at the center.
With the establishment of this facility, citizens will no longer need to visit multiple offices and will be able to obtain services quickly and conveniently at a single location.
In this regard, Facility Management Officer Ammar Yasir met with Regional Information Officer Dr. Sanaullah at the Regional Information Office in Dera Ismail Khan.
During the meeting, they discussed effective publicity and awareness regarding the services available at the center.
It was emphasized that maximum information should be provided to the public so that citizens can fully benefit from this modern facility.
On the occasion, Regional Information Officer Dr. Sanaullah assured full cooperation from the Information Department to ensure effective dissemination of information to people.
He said that such centers established by the government provide convenience, transparency, and save valuable time for citizens, and therefore their proper publicity is very important.
While briefing on the occasion, FMO Ammar Yasir said that the main objective of establishing the center was to provide modern and fast government services to the public so that citizens’ issues can be resolved promptly.
He added that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prioritized public service and was taking various reform measures in different sectors to provide maximum facilities to the people.
He further said that such centers not only promoted transparency in the government system but also strengthened trust between the public and government institutions.
People have welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the establishment of the center will make the process of obtaining government services easier and faster.
Officials added that more services will be included in the center in the future so that citizens can access a greater number of facilities at one place.
