Chiniot revenue performance reviewed as DC Ayesha Rizwan pushes for timely target achievement

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Tuesday chaired the monthly review meeting of the District Revenue Department, undertaking a comprehensive assessment of revenue collection performance, progress against government-assigned targets, and the overall efficiency of various revenue wings across the district.

During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Muhammad Ahmar presented a detailed briefing on revenue achievements in different sectors, the current status of collections, and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing performance. He informed the meeting that revenue officers and field staff were actively pursuing their responsibilities and making concerted efforts to meet the prescribed targets.

Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing efforts, the Deputy Commissioner directed the relevant departments to further streamline the revenue collection mechanism, accelerate the recovery process, and ensure the timely attainment of government objectives.

She also stressed the need for prompt resolution of pending revenue cases to improve public service delivery and administrative efficiency.

Ayesha Rizwan emphasized that all concerned officers must perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and accountability to achieve the district’s revenue goals. She underscored the importance of maintaining transparency and merit in all revenue-related matters, adding that effective governance and public trust depend on fair and efficient administrative practices. Assistant Commissioners and other concerned revenue officers attended the meeting.
