Chiniot police hold student awareness session to promote community policing

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chiniot Police on Tuesday organized an interactive awareness session at the DPO Office aimed at promoting community policing and guiding students towards a safe and successful future.

The session was attended by District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif, teachers of Government Islamia College Chiniot, and a large number of male and female students. Discussions during the event focused on responsible citizenship, law awareness, health and sanitation, education, and career counseling.

Students actively participated in the session by asking questions and engaging in discussions about educational opportunities and future career paths.

DPO Dr. Naveed Atif also provided guidance on career planning and preparation for competitive examinations.

Addressing the participants, the DPO said the purpose of such initiatives was to bridge the gap between the police and students and to build a positive relationship with the younger generation. He said the sessions were aimed at nurturing aware, responsible, and law-abiding citizens, adding that efforts would continue to ensure a secure future and a society free from social evils.
