CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the District Performance Review Committee of the District Health Authority to assess healthcare facilities and the performance of hospitals across the district.

The meeting was attended by Chief Officer Health Dr. Saqib Munir, District Health Officer Dr. Shahzad Khalil, deputy district health officers, medical superintendents of DHQ and THQ hospitals, doctors, and administrative officials.

During the session, participants conducted a detailed review of hospital performance, availability of medicines, patient care facilities, and progress on ongoing health projects in the district.

The deputy commissioner also examined measures being taken to improve healthcare delivery at public hospitals.

Addressing the meeting, Ayesha Rizwan directed health officials to ensure the provision of quality medical treatment to citizens and emphasized maintaining cleanliness, discipline, and patient comfort in hospitals. She said providing timely and effective healthcare services remained the district administration’s top priority and warned that negligence in service delivery would not be tolerated.
