CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) The district administration is working to ensure better arrangements and facilities for traders and buyers at cattle markets set up for the sale of sacrificial animals ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Ahmar Ali, Assistant Commissioner Shaista Jabeen, and Secretary DRDA, visited sale points in Chiniot, Bhowana, and Lalian.
The team reviewed arrangements including clean drinking water, washroom facilities, shaded areas, electricity supply, lighting, animal screening, traffic management, and security.Officials also inspected camps set up by Health, Rescue, and Civil Defense departments to check staff attendance, complaint registration, and emergency preparedness.

During the visit to the cattle market at Nalka Adda in Tehsil Bhowana, DC Ayesha Rizwan expressed displeasure over inadequate arrangements and ordered Assistant Commissioner Bhowana Sheena Azam to take action against those responsible and improve management.
