Chinese delegation arrives to attend Pakistan-China diplomatic relations’ 75th anniversary celebrations

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) A delegation from China led by Cai Dafeng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) on Wednesday arrived here to attend the commemorative activities marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

The delegation was received by National Assembly of Pakistan Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, along with Romina Khurshid Alam, MNA / Convener of the Pakistan-China Parliamentary Friendship Group.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Chinese delegation will remain in Islamabad from May 20-21, 2026, to attend events celebrating the longstanding and strategic ties between the two countries.
