DIJKOT:

A three-year-old girl was killed after being run over by a vehicle in Murad Colony, police said.

The victim, Inaya Fatima, daughter of Muhammad Jamil, was playing outside her home when the vehicle towing a transformer trailer ran over her in the local bazaar.

She was crushed under the rear wheels and died on the spot. A case was registered against the driver, Ramzan, under Section 322 of the Pakistan Penal Code and the police launched a search to apprehend him.

In another incident on Jaranwala Road, a speeding truck collided with a rickshaw, injuring five people from Lamba Pind – Awais, Amin, Shakeel Ahmed and Murad.
