Chief Minister Bugti inaugurates Sui Ring Road, vows improved connectivity in Balochistan

SUI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the newly completed Sui Ring Road on Thursday, opening it for regular traffic and marking a significant step toward strengthening transportation infrastructure in the region.

The event in Sui was attended by tribal elders, elected representatives, government officials, and other stakeholders. The project is regarded as a major development initiative aimed at improving mobility and connectivity in one of Balochistan’s key areas.

Sarfraz Bugti personally inspected the road by driving from Phadda Nala to China Post, reviewing the quality and progress of construction. He expressed satisfaction with the standard of work and praised the performance of the construction firm and staff involved.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed that completing development projects in underdeveloped areas, including Sui and other parts of Balochistan, remains a top priority for the provincial government.

“Construction of better and high-quality roads not only facilitates smooth transportation for the public but also promotes trade, strengthens the local economy, and enhances social activities,” he said.

Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the new road will provide residents with a modern and safe travel facility, reduce traffic congestion in the area, improve connectivity between surrounding localities, serve as a milestone for the development and prosperity of Sui and neighboring regions

The chief minister reiterated the government’s commitment to accelerating development work across the province and ensuring the timely completion of ongoing projects aimed at providing basic facilities to the people.
