Channar vows to resolve employees' issues

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar has said that he will raise voice for resolution of issues faced by government employees including of the Local Government Department.

He said this while addressing an oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Executive Body of (APCA) Unit Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur here.

Addressing the employees, Channar stated that he would play a full role in resolving the issues faced by employees. He said that he represents the people of Punjab and Bahawalpur and would advocate their concerns before the higher leadership.

Leaders who came from across Pakistan also addressed the participants and congratulated the newly elected President Ali Akbar Kamran, General Secretary Chaudhry Shaukat Ali, and their entire executive body.

Ali Akbar Kamran stated that strengthening and prosperity of the institution is their commitment, and safeguarding the legitimate rights of employees ia a top priority. He promised that employees’ issues would be resolved at their doorstep.
