The opening ceremony was also graced by the Consuls-General of Japan, Malaysia, Iraq, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Germany, President and Executive members of Pak-Thai Friendship Association and Business Forum, and members of the business community.

Speaking in the occasion, Surashete commended Moiz Kamal, the owner of the restaurant, for his passion of Thai food and initiative to transforming “a personal supper club journey” into a dedicated Thai restaurant.

He noted that such private sector efforts play a vital role in introducing authentic Thai cuisine to Pakistani audiences.

Moiz also shared that he uses only fresh Thai herbs and ingredients imported directly from Thailand as the foundation of his recipes. He emphasized that this commitment to quality and authenticity is what allows Sukhumvit to maintain its distinctive flavors.

The evening featured authentic Thai dishes, warm hospitality, and a celebration of the deepening cultural ties between the two nations.
