Ceremony held to distribute prizes,trophies among students:

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akhtar Abbas Khan Baloch on Thursday distributed prizes and trophies among students who secured top positions in various sports and literary competitions held under the Punjab government's flagship 'Khelta Punjab Games' initiative.

The ceremony, organized by the Principals/Headmasters Association and Physical Teachers Association Sargodha, honored participants from Boys Secondary and Higher Secondary school wings for their achievements in hockey, cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, athletics, and other disciplines.

Addressing the participants,the CEO Akhtar Abbas Khan Baloch and District Officer (DO) Secondary Rana Akbar Ali lauded the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, stating that promoting sports at the school level is essential for nurturing a healthy, disciplined, and confident generation.

They emphasized that 'Khelta Punjab Games' serves as a vital platform for students to demonstrate their leadership and competitive spirit, adding that the students of Sargodha have proven their talent by securing over 100 individual and team trophies.

The event concluded with the distribution of honorary shields and tracksuits among the organizers, including Muhammad Amir Jatt and Amjed Ali, in recognition of their efforts in making the program a success.

Prominent attendees included Principals Association President Muhammad Ejaz Khan, General Secretary Dr. Muhammad Naseer, and a large number of physical education teachers and students.
